A Soldier’s Child offers multiple Mini-camps and Mentorship programs that provide our kids the chance to explore new things while connecting with peers and adults who have walked similar journeys. Our programs are fun, educational, and healing.
A Soldiers Child offers the following activities:
Force on Force
Army Bass Anglers fishing competition- Located in Texas, this competition matches Anglers representing 4 branches of the military are paired with children whose parents served on that branch. They compete to see who brings in the biggest legal limit and gets top dawg service branch bragging rights.
Hunter Safety Course
During this course, the participants are able to get firsthand experience on how to be a safe hunter through guided instruction by a skilled Mentor. It is a weekend full of fun, shooting practice, study times with mentors, bonfires, s’mores, fellowship, and games.
White Tail Deer Hunt and Fishing
This mini-camp weekend is all about teaching our ASC youth the importance of wildlife conservation, hunting and fishing skills, and relationship building.
