A Soldier’s Child (ASC) Foundation was founded by Daryl J.W. Mackin after his neighbors lost their son, Marine Staff Sergeant Marcus Golczynski in Iraq on March 27, 2007. Many families of our fallen ask “did it matter and does anybody even care.” Marcus wrote this in a letter to his family and friends before he was killed on the battlefield; “Stand beside us, because we would do it for you.” How do we do that now that they are gone? Care for their children that have been left behind.
Join us in this fight.

Our mission is to serve the Children of ALL fallen military personnel, who have lost their lives on active duty, and post service-related deaths that were due to a service-related injury or illness. A Soldier’s Child (ASC) Foundation honors the children of our fallen American defenders of freedom by celebrating their birthday every year through the age of 18. ASC holds numerous camps throughout the year for ASC kids that are ages 9-17 and for our PS23 mentors that are 18 and older. ASC also facilitates secondary/college scholarships for our ASC recipients in our program.
A Soldier’s Child (ASC) Foundation services are available to the children of our fallen American defenders of freedom with no age limit. Enroll all of your children to be eligible for ASC’s services, which include celebrating their birthday every year through the age of 18 and all the numerous camps that your children can attend. PS23 young adult mentorship program/events are also available to young adults ages 18 and older, and secondary/college scholarships facilitated by ASC.
Compassionate Corporate America Partners (C-CAP) exists to provide the opportunity for corporate America to be the hands and feet that give back to the children of all “active duty” fallen servicemen and women. C-CAP is a financial and hands on partnership/experience for every tier of the company.
