John Montgomery enlisted in the Army directly after high school and served as a “Nightstalker” in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (A). After the completion of his service obligation, John used his G.I. Bill, attended Lipscomb University, and enrolled in Army ROTC. Upon graduation, John was selected to attend Law School at Faulkner University where he earned his Juris Doctorate.

John and his wife, Ashton, and their two children, Harrison and Vivian attend World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, TN. On the weekends, John can be found working auctions throughout Middle Tennessee with his family’s local real estate firm or conducting benefit auctions to assist local charity organizations.

John is encouraged by the spiritual growth he’s seen in A Soldier’s Child. It’s a marker that is extremely important to him.
