Rachel Washabaugh

Office Administrator | PS23 Mentor

Brief info

Rachel Washabaugh was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and relocated to Oregon and California before landing in Tennessee. She studied with Bryan College and attended Columbia State where she studied Mass Communications. She moved from the countryside of Tennessee to Nashville in the summer of 2023.

Rachel has been a part of A Soldier's Child Foundation since 2012 at ten years old when she lost her military father, Justin Lee Washabaugh. She attended all of the ASC camps from ages fourteen through seventeen and then became a PS23 leader. She has been a mentor with ASC for five years now and as of September 2023, she joined the staff as well.

She is passionate about serving the children whom she has so much empathy and understanding for. She has loved watching her campers grow up. She has also been honored to remain friends with those who were campers with her years ago, and now she attends their weddings and baby showers.

In her spare time, Rachel can be found baking in one of her favorite aprons, hosting a dinner party, or playing her old piano at home.
